The Reality of Unemployment in Pakistan

It is a fact that things get easier when we put the blames on others for all our problems and this is what people of Pakistan do. Whatever wrong happens in the country, people begin to blame the government. We are not stating that the government has the right approach, or they have done amazing things for our country but what we must see is that the government has worked for the betterment but at a small scale.

We cannot blame the government for everything bad. The first thing is to change our mindsets and understand that the government is not the one that has to provide Jobs in Pakistan, the government is responsible for creating an environment that helps private companies to grow and create job opportunities for the people.

The next factor that has contributed to increased unemployment rates is the number of institutes all over Pakistan giving out degrees. Every year millions of students graduate and only a few of them are from well-reputed institutions. The increasing number of institutes is a major factor of unemployment as they fail to provide a quality education that is needed in the job market.

Job VS Entrepreneurship

A common trend in Pakistan today is to start a business rather than going for a job. Even the fresh graduates today, instead of looking for jobs, invest in start-ups but things do not end well for them. Starting a business with a little or no experience in the corporate world is not a wise thing to do.

According to studies, eight out of ten businesses do not stay up for more than 18 months. This increasing trend is due to the fact that there is a scarcity of Jobs in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad which is not the reality. Unemployed people, who were not able to get a job have spread the word about the job market of Pakistan that there are no jobs in the country, but this is not the case.

There are jobs in Pakistan, but the job market is not very strong. Business is not the solution for unemployed people, not every person has the skills, techniques, and strategies to start their own business and this is not what many people understand. The employers of jobs in Faisalabad, Peshawar and other cities need much more than just a degree. They need talent and skills which is why the unemployment rate is high.

That Perfect Resume

The job situation in Pakistan is not very ideal and the unemployment rate is pretty high in our country. When a person goes out for a job, he or she focuses on their looks and the interview, but they do not pay much attention to their resumes.

Resumes are important, and it is what provides the employer or the interviewer the summary of your educational qualifications and your personality, therefore, this piece of the document has to be perfect for applying for Jobs in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi or any other city of Pakistan. So, how to make that perfect resume?
